Workshop Presenters for MsC 2012

An acclaimed speaker, he has delivered keynote addresses for the Leather Leadership Conference, the International Master/slave Weekend & South Plains Leatherfest, the "Living in Leather" convention of the National Leather Association, the Austin Bash and the Dominion Gathering, to name a few. Of his published work, he is perhaps best known for his essays in Drummer magazine, many of which were collected in his 1993 book, Ties That Bind. His 2002 SlaveCraft, now in its fourth printing, offers a compelling and controversial look at the inner dynamics of erotic servitude in the Master/slave dynamic.
In 1989, he was selected Mr. National Leather Association and the 11th International Mr. Leather, and is the only person ever to hold both titles concurrently. He has been awarded both the Pantheon and Dominion Lifetime Achievement Awards, and in 2000 was named "Centurion" by the Leather Archives & Museum – one of twenty in the 20th century recognized for outstanding contributions to Leather. He was among the first inductees to the Society of Janus Hall Of Fame in 2004 and received the first Master/ slave Heritage Award at the 2009 Master/slave Conference. Along with a lifetime interest in spirituality, theology and philosophy, which has included twenty years of practice in meditation, her journey in slavery has been her central path to the sacred.
In recent years, through the grace of her Guru, Sai Baba, she has been able to integrate her spiritual practices with her slavery and her business through a deeper appreciation of love, devotion, surrender and service and power exchange. She is a registered clinical psychologist, business woman, consultant, a self-proclaimed Jungian, corporate priestess, a spiritual seeker/teacher as well as a deep lifestyle slave.
Relocated to Southern California from Australia in October 2008 when she enrolled in a PhD in Depth Psychology, her dissertation topic is in the area of Master/slave dynamics. In the kink community she has been invited to give workshops and keynote addresses on various aspects of Master/slave and spirituality at Southwest Leather Conference, Together In Leather, P.L.A.Y., the Master/slave Conference, the Leather Leadership Conference and Great Lakes Leather Alliance. Mistress Khiki
International Master 1999
When she was 15, Mistress Khiki found a copy of Bob Damron's Address Book in a local gay bar that happened to be owned by a friend's mom. She quickly assigned herself the task of learning the "hanky code." About the same time she discovered Drummer Magazine, and that was, as they say "all she wrote," she was hooked. She was already out as a dyke, so her brain easily jumped to "somewhere there are women to do those naughty things with me." So she flagged, everywhere.
Mistress Khiki traveled a lot with her mother and used the "address book" to try finding and gaining entry to those specially coded bars and clubs that were "leather and SM." For several years, she wasn't very successful. Then she found the Atlanta Eagle and a whole new chapter of her life began.
Her journey in the Leather community was aided almost entirely by gay men (and interestingly, her mom as well) and more specifically by boy clifford hooks and some naughty-sweet Drummer boys also groomed and mentored by him. Yep, most of her mentoring was done by bottoms and boys. She considers herself incredibly lucky because they taught her a million and one lessons about being a Top, and even more about being a Master. She was taught how to behave and follow what she was told were "Old Guard" protocols for doing things; then the protocols themselves became a fetish for her, which probably explains why she loves "Old Guard" (ask her about that) and "Traditional Leather" so much.
Proud member of "Mama's Family," Mistress Khiki was the first Ms. Atlanta Eagle, '95-'96 (really, that's what the sash says), Ms. Georgia Leather 1996, 1st Runner Up American Leather Woman 1997, recipient of a 2002 Jack Stice Community Service Award, and International Master 1999.
slave jezebel
slave jezebel was introduced to the scene when she was 19 by a college friend. Although she was too young (and too naive) to understand the significance, she was in the heart of the San Francisco Leather Dyke scene and had some pretty interesting experiences, none of which can be printed here due to decency laws, lifetime confidentiality agreements and dead French masters with no forwarding address.
she’s lived in many cities across our country, but finally settled in Philadelphia, and in 2000-ish became involved in the Mid-Atlantic Leather/Fetish/Kinky and BDSM communities with a vengeance. In 2011 she moved to Atlanta with her Master, Sir Khiki.
Since 2007 jezebel has done graphic design for many organizations and events within our larger kink and Leather communities such as The Floating World, Master/slave Conference, MAsT (regional and International), The Leather Heart Foundation, MTTA, DC Leather Pride, The Carter/Johnson Leather Library, Art of slavery, and BrimStone. she is the official “genie” of “Mama Vi’s Leather Library,” and in her free time, all 30 seconds of it, writes and blogs about Leather, M/s, etc., bottom to her cats, serve her Master, and continues to volunteer in both the Leather and greater Kink/BDSM/M/s communities. Proud member of "Mama's Family," slave jezebel was the recipient of the Sir Steve Community Service Award during MsC 2011.

David Stein
Author
Born in Pittsburgh in 1948, David Stein grew up in Western Pennsylvania, where he started tying himself up at age 5. He graduated high school three years early and went off to study philosophy at NYU in 1965 and later at Northwestern University, which awarded him a Master's degree — little did they know!
When the academic job market collapsed in the early 1970s, he fell into publishing and in 1977 landed back in New York City, where he got a job as a magazine editor and came out in the S/m-leather scene. He's lived in New York ever since except for a year in San Francisco to produce two books, Ask the Man Who Owns Him: The real lives of Gay Masters and slaves and a collection of his leathersex stories, Boots, Bondage, and Beatings (both Perfectbound Press, summer 2009).
In 1980 David co-founded Gay Male S/M Activists (GMSMA), once the world's largest gay s/m organization, and served it in many capacities, from president to newsletter editor and program chairman, for the next 11 years. It was for the GMSMA statement of purpose, back in 1983, that david coined the phrase "safe, sane, and consensual S/m," now a ubiquitous catch phrase he has mixed feelings about. Retired from GMSMA, in 1999 he co-founded New York City's gay chapter of Masters And slaves Together (MAsT), from which he is also now retired.
For six years he wrote the "Bond+Aid" safety column for Bound & Gagged magazine, and in 1996 he guest-edited issue #14 of International Leatherman magazine, devoted entirely to real-world gay Masters and slaves. Over the years, his BDSM fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Drummer, DungeonMaster, International Leatherman, Mach, Power Play, and other periodicals as well as the anthologies Leatherfolk edited by Mark Thompson (Alyson), SM Classics edited by Susan Wright (Masquerade), Horsemen: Leathersex Short Fiction edited by Joseph W. Bean (Leyland), Men on the Edge edited by Christopher Pierce (StarBooks), and the "novelology" The Academy: Tales of the Marketplace by Laura Antoniou (Mystic Rose). Some of his writing is available online at www.boybear.us, as is a fuller biographical essay.
David has presented at numerous leather and S/mevents, including the International Master/slave Weekend in Atlanta in 1999 and several times at the Master/slave Conference in DC. In 2006 he was the keynote speaker at the South Plains Leatherfest in Dallas. During MsC 2009, slave david received the first Sir Steve Community Service Award.
Having been involved in three Master/slave partnerships of various lengths, David is currently unowned but under the protection and long-distance supervision of Master Steve, the founder and longtime director of Butchmann's (www.butchmanns-experience.org), the parent organization of MAsT International.
