Master/slave Conference 2008 opens online registration
Online registration for the Master/slave Conference 2008
is now open at the website of the annual event. Attendees
can go to www.masterslaveconference.org and register online
as well as book their hotel rooms.
The fifth Master/slave Conference will take place August
7-10, 2008 at a hotel in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
The event is owned and produced by MTTA, Inc, a non-for-profit
educational organization based in the Nation’s Capital.
The conference is a heavily educational event with over forty
workshops and panels on different aspects of Master/slave
relationships.
The advance registration is $100 and is effective until May
31. Cost will increase to $120 until June 30, $140 after July
1 and $150 at the door. This year the event will feature three
optional meals including a Leather formal banquet on Saturday
evening, a grill lunch on Saturday, and a Sunday brunch. The
meals package will be $65 for all three meals. Individuals
meals also can be purchased.
Master Skip Chasey from Los Angeles, California, will be
the Keynote Speaker during the Opening Ceremony on Friday
evening. The Master Heart Award and slave Heart Award will
be presented that evening as well.
MsC will feature also its traditional slave auction during
the reception on Friday evening. The funds raised during the
auction goes to the scholarship fund of the event.
The Northeast Master/slave 2008 Contest will take place on
Saturday evening. Current titleholders, Lady Lynette and slave
llamb, will step down as well.

Master Skip Chasey: Keynote Speaker for Master/slave
Conference 2008
Master Skip Chasey from Los Angeles has been selected to
be the Keynote Speaker at the fifth annual Master/slave Conference
(MsC) scheduled for August 7-10, 2008 in Washington, DC.
The announcement was made by the Executive Committee of MsC
integrated by its producer Master Taino, the three co-chairs
Master J, Master Jack McG and the Chief
Operations Officer, Sir Brian.
The Committee also announced the seven judges that will form
the panel who will judge the Northeast Master/slave Contest
2008. The panel will be presided by head Judge Master Z from
Dallas,Texas and the International Master 2004. The other
judges are Master Robert (Northwest Master 2007) from Oregon,
Lady Lynette and slave llamb (Northeast Master and slave 2007)
from Virginia, slave ziggy (International slave 2006) from
Rochester, New York, slave Caroline from Australia, and in
service to Master Skip, and slave barb (Northeast slave 2006
and International slave 2007) from New Jersey. Master Vince
and slave neil from Chicago will serve as Tally Master and
Tally slave, while boy eddie, from the DC boys of Leather,
will be the Judges’ slave.

than 40 workshops on Master/slave relationships, Vi Johnson’s
Leather History Library, a Leather Market, the traditional
slave auction, a formal Leather Banquet and a Sunday Brunch
and several receptions.
The Keynote Speaker, Master Skip, heads a family of spiritually
grounded leatherfolks in Los Angeles, California, where he
is a practicing spiritual director and certified Grief Recovery
counselor. He is a co-producer of the Southwest Leather Conference,
a core instructor for the APEX Academy/Butchmanns Experience,
and a co-founder of People of Leather Among You (PLAY), a
social and educational group in Southern California men and
women interested in the integration of spirituality and leather/fetish
sexuality. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of
Butchmanns, Inc.
Previous keynote speakers at MsC have been Master Steve from
Butchmanns (2004), Vi Johnson (2005), Jack Rinella (2006)
and Master Jack McG (2007).

Master/slave Conference set for August 7-10, 2008
The fifth annual Master/slave Conference (MsC) will take
place on August 7-10, 2008 in Washington, DC. The event will
take place at a hotel in the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
MsC is the only educational event exclusively on Master/slave
relationships. The conference will include over 40 workshops
of different aspects of Dominant/submissive relationships
with well known presenters from all around the country.
As part of the Master/slave Network, MsC will feature also
the Northeast Master/slave Contest, with the winners competing
at the International contest in Dallas.
For the third consecutive year, the event will include a
special exhibit of Vi Johnson’s Leather History Library.
MsC is a very diverse event where everyone is welcome regardless
sexual orientation or gender. A formidable representation
of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Masters and slaves,
Sirs, Mistresses, boys, subs, girls, bois, etc. gather every
summer in the Nation’s capital to share, educate, learn,
and network.
The event is produced by MTTA, Inc., a 501c3 non-for-profit
educational organization. The Executive Committee is formed
by Master Taino (Executive Producer), Master J, Master Jack
M. (co-chairs) and Sir Brian (Chief Operating
Officer).
MsC 2008 will officially start on Thursday August 7 with registration
and a Meet and Greet reception. Workshops and the Leather
Market will open Friday morning.
