Attendees must dress and behave appropriately, as hotel staff and employees will still be present.
A former General Manager once advised us: "Don't do anything to disrespect our staff." Please honor this simple but important request.
While we have exclusive use of the Conference Center, some non-conference hotel guests may still be present in the main hotel.
Securing venues with suitable facilities and services for our lifestyle events is increasingly challenging. We are pleased to have a long-term contract with the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center.
To maintain a positive relationship with the hotel, we ask for your cooperation:
During the five days of our event, we will be the only guests at the Conference Center. However, the hotel also includes a separate main hotel area.
Photography in classrooms and during evening events is only permitted by the official photographer.
We aim to accommodate pets and service dogs while adhering to safety concerns and ADA accessibility laws. Please ensure animals are well behaved, under your immediate control, and respectful of others.
Note: Certified service dogs are allowed access under the ADA.

College Park Marriott Hotel and Conference Center offers complimentary parking in our adjacent garage.
To travel around the College Park area, please contact the Front Desk for information regarding taxis, Uber, or Lyft. Taxi services can be limited; as alternatives, ride-sharing services can provide reasonably priced transportation.
THIS IS YOUR BEST ALTERNATIVE.
From DCA, you can take the Super Shuttle (see above). Another alternative is the Metro. You will have to take the Yellow Line from the airport to Fort Totten and switch to the Green Line to College Park UMD Station. From there you can call the hotel and ask for their shuttle to be picked up.
The best option from BWI is to take the Super Shuttle (see above). You also can take Amtrak or MARC train to Union station and from there take the Metro to College Park UMD.
This is the farthest airport and Super Shuttle is your fastest alternative. Dulles Airport now is accessible by Metro taking the Silver line at the Airport until L’Enfant Plaza connecting to the Green Line to College Park-University of Maryland. Then you should take a Taxi or Uber to the hotel.
You can take Amtrak trains or Buses to Union Station in Washington, DC and take from there the Metro (Red Line and switching to Green at Gallery Place). Hotel Shuttle will pick you up from College Park UMD Metro station.
The closest metro station to the hotel is College Park UMD on the Green Line. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the metro station.
